Jan Lenica – OTELLO (1968)
Original First Printing Polish Poster
An exceptionally preserved original 1968 first printing of Otello, designed by Jan Lenica for the Grand Theatre (Teatr Wielki) in Warsaw.
Created during the peak of the legendary Polish Poster School, this iconic poster is one of Lenica's most celebrated opera designs and a superb example of his surreal and highly expressive visual language.
Unlike later reprints and posthumous editions frequently encountered on the market, this example retains the original production markings from the 1968 printing and represents a genuine period-issued poster.
